Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of bookkeeping and related services by Ducks in a Row Bookkeeping (“we”, “our”, “us”) to clients (“you”, “your”) in Australia. By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Ducks in a Row Bookkeeping provides bookkeeping, payroll, accounts management, financial reporting, and related administrative services. Specific services and deliverables are agreed upon in writing prior to commencement.

2. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to provide accurate, complete, and timely information necessary for the provision of services, including access to financial records, accounting software, and relevant documents. Delays or errors caused by incomplete information are the responsibility of the client.

3. Fees and Payment

Fees are outlined in the engagement agreement or invoice.

Payment is due within the timeframe stated on the invoice.

We reserve the right to suspend services if payments are overdue.

Any additional work beyond the agreed scope may incur extra charges.

4. Confidentiality

We will maintain confidentiality of all client information. Client data will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law or with prior consent.

5. Data and Record Retention

Client records and data will be securely stored. We retain records for the minimum period required by Australian tax and accounting legislation, after which data may be securely destroyed.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ducks in a Row Bookkeeping is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the provision of services. Our liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the services giving rise to the claim.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate services by providing written notice. Outstanding fees for services rendered up to the termination date remain payable.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Queensland.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be communicated to clients and posted on our website.
